Just found this found this in my my books in my library. "Folk Hymnal for the Now Generation" . Contemporary worship that's not so contemporary.
Copyright date? 1970. Love it. The Now Generation has somehow become the "then" generation. So it goes.

there used to be a songbook in the LCMS called 'Songs from Now'.
My colleague, my organist and I call it, 'Songs from Then.' It is copyright 1968 or so. :-)
Yeah, amazing how quickly now becomes then.
Did you steal that off my shelf? I remember purchasing it in 1971 but I do not recall seeing it much since then. It was about $2. You get what you pay for. Even then.
No didn't steal it from you. I got it from a parishioner a few years back. He was unloading it!
