This is a very nice collection of Orthodox electronic texts. Remarkable and free! Good books on the Orthodox church, her history, the Eastern fathers, the liturgy and other topics. Some gems in the list, just for the sake of knowledge.
Very nicely done.
Thanks to Christopher Orr for pointing it out.
Of course, be, remain or become a Lutheran (!) while reading these books. As always. Read some Luther and Chemnitz in between the tomes on the Fathers and the liturgy. That is a good mix. Had to put in the disclaimer.

Greg,
I mean this in no way as an attack on you, but I must say...
What a sad state of affairs when a Lutheran Christian has to put a disclaimer on a post concerning Orthodox books just in case another Lutheran "Christian" doubts his loyalty to his denomination. What has the LCMS come to?
Are we this afraid of Lutherans leaving for other denominations? All I read on so many of these Lutheran blogs lately (McCain's, Weedon's, this one, and I am sure there are probably more out there) is the Lutheran angst against the Orthodox. Sad, truly sad. Where is the focus here?
For the sake of balance, here is a list of Lutheran works:

Mr Schmidt,
Are we this afraid of Lutherans leaving for other denominations?
Perhaps we are. But perhaps "what the LCMS has come to," in many parishes, is indistinguishable from other denominations (or no denomination). If some are looking elsewhere for an ecclesial life that is truly centered in Word and Sacrament, perhaps that is why.
